CAD Drawing
I have been using CAD since DT classes at secondary school. We had Autodesk Inventor and I had opportunity to play around with it a little. At university, I used Siemens Solid Edge and NX and in my work experience at Triumph Motorcycles, was introduced to Pro/Engineer (now PTC Creo). After university, I taught myself DS SolidWorks and used it to assist a family friend to create engineering drawings for his DT educational consultancy business, projects that led me to create drawings for the then head of the Technology department at The Chalfonts Community College. I have used SolidWorks extensively during my 9 years at CCC and gained my Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) certificate. I have also used TechSoft 2D design, mostly for laser cut designs. More recently, due to the expense of maintaining a SolidWorks subscription and issues with compatibility with Chrome OS, which the school was transitioning towards, I have investigated cloud CAD options, including Autodesk Fusion 360 and TinkerCad, before finally settling on a product with closer ties to my SolidWorks experience: OnShape (designed by former SolidWorks developers).
